Hey Everybody!
I hope you’re all enjoying the weekend, and are blessed with beautiful, hot, sunny weather like we are! I have a some big news I’d like to share with you 
1. This week, while struck with my September flu, I watched the first season of Vampire Diaries. And I’m hooked. I know this show is geared to people who are 8 years younger than me, but I just don’t care. I love me some high school drama. I’ll take it any way you serve it. Especially with vampires (the theme of which is another guilty pleasure of mine).
2. Bartek and I got a new car! Yayy! It’s a red 2011 Chevrolet Cruze. We’re pretty excited about it! It should have more room for our camping trips!
3. Last, and most exciting, I got in to grad school! I’m going to be attending University of Western Ontario for their Masters of Library and Information Studies program! The program begins in May, so I’ll be moving to London, Ontario probably at the end of April. This will be a huge change for me because a) I’ve never lived outside of Edmonton before, b) I’ve never even visited London (or Ontario) before, and c) I won’t know anybody there (at first… I know I’ll make friends!)
So that’s all my big news! I’m trying to convince Bartek that we should go to this dance tonight. It’s a zabava (ukrainian dance party thing) so it should be loads of fun and filled with great dancing (polka!). But I’m not sure he’ll budge. My friend Anna said I have to work on mastering my wifey-persuasion, so I’ll try that!
