I’ve been reading A LOT lately. Granted, most of the time has been spent reading Harry Potter (I’m half way done #6), I also started reading The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin. I want to take my time to get through this book, so I’ve only read the first two chapters. So far, I’m really enjoying the book and find myself relating to the parts of Rubin’s life that she wants to change.
One of the changes Rubin thinks is necessary to make to improve her life is to get more sleep. As someone who needs a minimum 8hrs to function properly, I am definitely on board for getting more shut-eye. Easy for me right now, but of course it’s gets more complicated when you have to balance sleep+work+life (as I’m sure many of you do!).
Anyways, I thought I’d share this graphic about sleep that was released by Frugal Dad. It’s informative and pretty. I mean, why should we read studies and STUFF when we can look at pictures?! (don’t answer that)
(I’m sensitive about the spelling of ‘Chernobyl’, should be Chornobyl …maybe it’s like Auschwitz, in that the Poles call it by its German name to distance Poland from the horror)
The message is clear! Get some sleep!
What’s the minimum amount of sleep you need to feel like you are on top of your game?
P.S. Today is Mirrorless Monday!
I’m proud of my toes! I’ve just always liked them
