Hey Everybody!
I hope you’re having a fab day today! I have been so busy arranging things and working out this and that, that that the week has just flown by! I spent the better part of yesterday making my new banner for the blog on photoshop! What a cool program! I’ve had it for a few years, but only just installed it yesterday. There’s so much more to learn, but I’m happy with the results so far! In the future weeks, you can look forward to even more changes in the blog as I begin to reshape it to fit with some news ideas I’ve had!
Now, let’s get down to business, shall we?
1. D-Day is is 6 weeks (minus 2 days)! In other words, I’ll be moving to Ontario on April 24! We more or less finalized everything last night (AKA the plane tix are bought) and I’m really super duper excited!! You might remember from my big news (or maybe not) that I’ve been accepted into the master’s program at Western University (in London, ON) for Library and Information Studies! I’ve always had the idea to become a librarian lurking in the back of my mind, so it’s fabulous to think that the dream is in the process of becoming a reality! This is a wonderful opportunity for me and I feel so blessed!
2. I came across this image this morning. Now, you know how I feel about pictures (wayyyy more fun to look at then lengthy paragraphs…I’ll make a good librarian, right?), so I thought I’d share this with you. This is a chart which represents how much sugar can be found in 1-cup of various fruit. Some of it’s surprising, for example, how much more sugar can be found in grapes vs. strawberries!
My thoughts on fruit are that if you replace the things that you eat that contain artificial sugars (from sweets and pastries) with natural sugars (like fruit, honey) than this is probably no concern for you. But if you’re like my mother, and try to live off fruit and can’t understand why you don’t lose weight than this may enlighten you.

3. I’m obsessed with this song! I’m not a huge Taylor Swift fan (I like Love Story, but who doesn’t?), but I absolutely adore her here (plus the video is great!). Also, the Civil Wars? PHENOMENAL! I have their latest album and I can’t stop listening to it!
AND now I know I’ll be going to see the Hunger Games, which means I should read the books. I tried to request the first one from the library, but I was #706 in line for requests!!!!! Serves me right for jumping on the bandwagon so late, but fortunately I checked if the university had it and they did! It was available with no holds (I guess people in university are too good to read it? haha just joking). SO I hope I get that soon. But in the meantime, enjoy!
And I’m out! Have a great afternoon, luvlies!

I don’t even know those songs! I’ll have to check them out! Maybe I’ll become a diehard T Swift fan after all :p
Ah your move sounds so exciting!! I hope everything goes well!
That information on sugar is definitely very interesting. I’ve done quite a lot of research into sugar and my boyfriend is very strict with the maximum amount of sugar he will eat. I find if I eat too much it affects my skin more than anything else, as well as makes me bloat… lovely!
Love that song

ad yeah, sugar definitely does some weird things to bodies! That’s great that your bf is so disciplined!! I need to get more disciplined because sugar is def. my weakness!
Gahh, the amount of sugar in grapes is ridiculous! I tend to OD on them so I really have to watch it! Thanks for that:)
